On this one day course you will learn how to make an interlined curtain with a hand finished heading.

If you haven't made curtains before then you will need to attend the Introduction to Curtain Making class first, as this will give you an indepth explanation of how to measure a window to calculate fabric requirements, for example, and other skills that you will need on this more advanced course.

On this advanced course, you will learn how to measure & cut the fabric and interlining; prepare the face fabric for inserting the interlining & buckram and attaching the lining; and how to make three different types of pleats for the heading.

You will take home a sample size finished curtain

Your tutor Leanne is a qualified teacher who is also trained and fully qualified in curtain making and soft furnishings. She has been making soft furnishings professionally for almost 10 years.

The day will start at 9am and finish at 4.30pm.
