If you are a parent or carer, then these classes are ideal for you.
You come to the Skills Centre one day each week from 10am to 2pm for 5 weeks during school term time to:
- Learn traditional and modern upholstery techniques
- Practice your skills in a small group
- Work on your own project
These classes are suitable for beginners and improvers.
Each student works at their own pace and is guided through their project to meet their individual goals.
As a beginner you have the opportunity to work on your own small project or make your own footstool or headboard. As an improver, you can choose one of these or a more complex project to reflect your ability.
All the tools you need are provided.
The upholstery materials for your project can be purchased at the Centre as and when you need them or you can bring your own.
This course runs Mondays to Fridays and you can choose your days.
Course fees for the 5 day course: £237.50 + VAT = £285.
